I wanted to go back to their first thread together. Who would have thought things would end the way they did? I was so stoked to find someone to write Riley with. You are such a great collaborator. I loved how “in step” this pair seemed. It was so nice to write a steady, growing partnership — and while their end was bitterly tragic, I felt like it was such a good plot line, reflective of the bitter hardships of survival and how sometimes, the smallest little mistake or encounter snowballs into profound, lasting situations. Thank you for giving me my tiny little piece of Jack London Kat! I had so much fun writing with you and I will have to send another character your way soon because the saddest thing (for me) about losing Rilerade was us not threading together anymore. <33
