She hadn't meant to leave, but now, here she was. Somehow, the young Brook had gotten herself turned around, and she couldn't find her way home. She wasn't quite yet two months old, but somehow she'd slipped away from her mother and brother and on, on, on she had walked. She didn't know where she was or how to get home, and she shivered in the warmth of the summer night. Brook had never done anything like this before, but something had urged her onward.
Now, sitting here, whimpering softly, she hoped that somebody could come find her. If not, she wasn't sure what she would do.

58°, currently it is clear and set during the night. Located in Rising Sun Valley, emberwood
The ethereal being wandered the woods. His pelt a mist with brilliant shades of silver as the moon reflected off his coat, a ghost of a figure as he silently padded through the forest. It was alive with small prey, nothing of interest to the snowy mountain. Only when a whimper caught his ears did he turn to seek the sound.
Walking up to where the sound had emanated from, the giant stood and looked down. A hardened gaze washing over the small figure before parting darkened lips to speak, as softly as his baritones could.
What are you doing here.Well, he wasn't quite that gentle, but the meaning was there. For one so small and young, he couldn't turn a blind eye. (pun intended)

Maybe she should have been wary of the stranger, but she was nothing of the sort. Instead, Brook waltzed right up to him as if he was her best friend. Having been exposed to few things in her short lifetime, she didn't know any better. She sniffed at him, wagged her tail, and was generally pleased by his presence. Maybe she should have been worried that her parents were not immediately nearby, but it just wasn't in her nature.
Go walk, she eventually responded, once she'd decided he was worthy of an answer.
Ma an' Da no here.

There was a clear lack of ability with the youth, Rosencrantz had spent very little time in his life with anyone under the age of one. To be honest, he was close to feeling rather uncomfortable, uncertain of what to do next other than the absolute obvious - which was to find where this one's home was and to ensure that her parents would find her.
Looking off to the side, a look of utter annoyance crossed his features. Brows furrowed into the nothingness past the young lady - a part of him just simply wanted to walk away, and let the next idiot come across her and try to take her home, but the man wasn't that heartless.

Clearly. He said with a lip rising just enough to show the fangs on one side of his uncharred face, again, glaring in the empty space before cooling off his attitude to turn back to the young lady.
And where are they? Where is home.
