With Yuèlóng's competition successfully driven away, the trio of Tizla, Hua and Minori had this territory all to themselves. The basking sea lions had fortunately, only moved a short way down the beach amidst the commotion of the scuffling, too stubborn to give up their favored real estate.
Adrenaline still pumping through her veins, the Shadow Queen set her sights on her original targets. She had come here with a plan and was fully determined to see them through. A sharp pang of deep hunger in her gut reminded her, furthering her drive. Silver eyes narrowing into slits, Tzila scanned the masses of lions who sparred or argued amongst themselves. Looking for the weak, old or unwary.

This was a prey she hadn't had. Minori pettily added that as more reason the young woman deserved to have her words handed to her only moments before. The taste of blood was still fresh and she felt the same as Tzila unknowingly, on a high of adrenaline and ready to take down one of these fat....things. Off to the left there looked to be a fight between two of the sea beasts, one with greying along its whiskers and muzzle. Assuming that would be a key target she gently nudged her packmate and glanced to Hua, motioning silently in the direction of the one she'd found. Two...three of them could handle two of those things she was sure of it seeing as one was old and they may have worn themselves out fighting already.

It seemed they had similar feelings. The fight had roused some energy in her; she wanted to pick off a sea lion to celebrate their victory, to replenish their energy- not that they had had to use much, considering how easily they had silenced the bitch. To prove these lands were unchangeable as theirs- and even if lone wolves came more and more to bother the beasts, Huā knew Yuèlóng would rule the coast no matter what.
Minori had her sights set on two. Huā was not a master of the hunt, and found it ambitious- but her companions were the most physical here, and she would let them take the lead in planning. The older of the beasts seemed the easiest, and she wished to target this one firstly, though... and save the second as an extra. Huā jabbed her muzzle to that graying one to signal such, but ultimately hung back, wanting the warriors to move first so that she might follow.

A prompting nudge from Minori directed her attention to a pair of the beasts engaged in a quarrel. Hua had noticed them too, seeming to favor the older of the animals. With little more than a decisive flick of her tail, Tzila was locked on target and heading down the beach to begin her attack.
She was far from an expert on how to handle prey such as this, and it showed, as she skirted the pair back and forth, searching for the most optimal point of attack. Though very much noticed by the sea lions, they hardly seemed phased enough to give up on their own affair just because of a solo wolf nearby. Maybe she'd make her point that her presence was to be taking seriously. Darting in swiftly but cautiously, she aimed a quick, deep bite for the rump of the eldest.

rolled a failure on the elder because I decided to involve the dice. Rolled a success on the younger because...dice.
Seeing Tzila move in she followed suit with the same cautious nature. Studying she held herself more still than the other only observing with keen eyes as she inched as subtly as possible toward their prey. Then swiftly Tzila struck for the bottom end of the elder seal and she rushed to assist aiming for the blubbery fat of the beast's neck. Jaws parted she had a second to feel her mouth water and smell the fat creature's rich scent before a heavy force thudded her on the back of the neck sending her flopping into the sand. Stunned she rolled over to see the younger sea lion towering over her and she snarled hoping that like most prey it would shy away. Opening it's sleek blubbery face it stared her in the eyes, revealing hideous teeth and breath that reeked like a heaping pile of rotten fish.
Then.....made the most nightmarish guttural sound she'd ever heard. Yelping she clumsily jumped to her paws and out of sheer terror instead of skill struck blindly, her fangs ripping across the beast's eyes. It roared again but this time floundered backwards leaving her standing there staring at with pure terror on her face. Sea lions were monsters, not animals...nothing natural could make a sound like that.

alright cool! and sorry for the wait on this yall <3
Huā watched carefully as Tzila moved forward, issuing a strike on the older towards the tail. Huā was ready to back up Minori, but as the general moved forward she was suddenly intercepted by the younger of the sea lions. Instinct rather than planning took over as the dark woman tore her fangs near the creature's eyes, causing it to bellow more in its agony. Well. This had not been the plan, but in action one always had to be flexible. Huā did not want to leave Tzila alone and hesitated, but ultimately after seeing Minori knocked to the ground she was inclined to help there. She glanced to Tzila and motioned her muzzle to Minori as she raced in, eager to back up her general in spite of her small size. Huā was upon the younger then- temporarily, or permanently blinded, she could not tell, but raced towards its back all the same, striking towards the rump similarly to how Tzila had on the other. All Huā could hope was that the older might be too weak to defend its younger companion.

Her teeth had only just punctured the thick flesh by mere inches. Not exactly the progress she was hoping for. Any more efforts she was to make in her attack were cut short by a horrendous roar. The corner of her eye glimpsed Minori being flung aside thanks to the intervention of the younger animal, apparently either willing to defend his elder or show off his youthful strength. His reward was met with Minori's teeth across his eyes, splattering blood.
Seized by instincts, Tzila abandoned her efforts on the older animal and focused on the roaring youth, while he was at a severe disadvantage. Flattening her ears to drown out that deafening bellow, she surged in alongside Hua, testing it now. She bit not at the rump, but at the exposed expanse of its neck. If she could nick a few crucial arteries, this battle would be over swiftly.

minori fell inactive so im gonna keep this moving, we can wrap with your next post if you want since this is old. I dont need 10 posts for trade thread either so : )
Tzila moved in for the neck, and Huā felt more powerful with the warrior beside her, Minori surely joining them too. Though she had not assumed the younger might be their prey, with three wolves they made decent work of tearing him apart as they could, and soon enough it seemed they might have a feast to bring home. Huā was not sure who made the final blow- certainly not her- but at some point or another she felt the great beast give a final trash of its body before it slumped in death, and the siren stood panting as she shifted away from the cooling body.
