he found the trail of sivaak's rejected girl. too close. too close. the muradoii woman had labored, children drawing breath in their own shelter.
on high alert, sun eater growled. it would not do.
@Kukuvrak was given a sharp note, as was @Black Hawk.
"follow her. if there is way, kill."
"but find. once follow sivaak. but they fight. she run. now come alone."
a threat, and one that meted killing. by now she was miles from the cache, but it did not matter. here was a chance for his cousin to honor her word, to prove herself by doing more than sitting alongside the snow shelter.

she had no choice to heed his call. to come to him like a dog, itching to obey. it was against her wishes, her very being...but she had to keep reminding herself to put her pride aside.
for star-woman. for sivaak, and the children hawk would come to raise alongside her.
it helped, knowing the woman she was being sent to kill had stalked sivaak during her birth. hawk must have not noticed; too busy basking in the sanctity of her cubs being welcomed into the world. they were not blood, but it did not matter.
when sivaak chose her, hawk became their guardian. and she would snuff whomever dared pose a threat to those cubs. to her wife.
"it will be done." she bowed her head, woman enough to put her anger and pride aside. "i will not fail." she would not fail anyone.

cameo!
One Eye called for a hunt of the highest caliber.
kukuvrak could finally exert himself in a way that would bring himself pleasure and power to Sos, while inserting tartok deeper in to the chieftain's heart.
no words were necessary.
he gave a yip to expel some of his wild energy as he tore off at a run.
warning! mature character

"remember that we have peace with the other clans. the glacier. the mountain. tell them why you come as a warrior if you meet."
the man sped away. "he is tartok. not yet trusted. he will earn it, but inside our ways."
sun eater passed the heft of this responsibility to black hawk, watching her pointedly.
"cousin."
he would stand watching until they had gone into the white land.

a peace treaty between all northern packs. it had been unknown to hawk, until now. she would heed his advice and tread carefully upon their land. she would meet them with the orders she'd been given.
and perhaps, she may find kill-brother. last she'd scented, he'd drifted toward the glacier. tucked inside it's ferocious depths.
tartok. she hadn't any experiences with them, and only knew them from legends and tales. sun eaters warning was heard, and she would make her judgement keenly. this tartok man would not fail—and if he would, he would be dragged back to saatsine for penance.
"i will return soon." she nodded. her mind set, her determination endless. this woman would fall. she would bow a goodbye, before she took off after the tartok to being their hunt.
