So they are 24 days old today. So that means open eyes, standing and regurgitated meat start. So have a wobbly Ajei.
Ajei had learned just recently that she could walk if she tried really hard. And though she was closer to the ground than most. She was still a little shaky and still feared falling. It hurt a little when you fell. But today she tried to move around a little more than usual. A soft little shuffle. She was slightly hungry, but knew her mother or father would feed her eventually and she didn't wish to fuss too much. After all there was too much to see and learn about.
She hadn't been allowed out of the den yet, but today she shuffled towards the edge and stuck her tiny head out and looked about her, eyes peering in wide eyed delight at the world around her. A soft shuffle and she felt her back legs give out and she landed on her rear with a small pop and her front legs splayed wide. She felt her little lip wobble. But she didn't wail.
