She had seen a great many packs come and go over the span of her years in the Teekon, so perhaps this was simply another case of it. Natural flux happened all the time and in the end, her curiosities wouldn't run exceptionally deep. For her and her mountain pack, it was better they were not here. Simple as that.
But this young wolf Zaria was an interesting look into their depths, even if she had seemingly been ousted. Perhaps it had saved her, somehow.. especially if something had wiped them from this existence. She shared the sentiment of confusion on why they were here so briefly, and Amekaze nodded her head slowly with her expression set with thought. She confirmed they came from far, far away, and to not stay very long seemed... unwise? Or not intentionally, most likely. "Then to leave the promised lands willingly after such a long journey.. it does not seem like it would be done on a whim," she murmured. If she had found her promised lands, she'd stick to them. "And perhaps it was for the best that you no longer ran with them.." The implication clear -- at least she ran at all, whereas the rest of the plains pack may be extinguished entirely. Although, this had likely already occurred to Zaria.
Nevertheless, to know that they did not let wolves near the bison came as no surprise. It had been a fleeting concern of hers -- not that she had hunted the bison often, even when they lingered closer to the Sunspire in seasons past. "I only knew very little about them, really.. and mainly what I did know was only from scents in the flatlands," she smirked subtly; her mountain perch and her own curiosities kept her just connected enough while maintaining her own secrecy all at once. The red wolf she'd spoken with had also been informative, but she was certainly not one of theirs. She remembered about their poisons, and bizarre tongue. "But you are the first I have spoken with directly," Ame glanced over the female again; she certainly had a distinct look about her, even with her youthfulness.
