If anyone else had caught you - and noticed she stank like Blackfeather, a smell which no doubt had spread to himself by now (a putrid little thought he'd realize later), - just, I dunno, be glad it was me and not Elwood, or something. But judging by the state she was in, the poor girl probably didn't care.
