Yes, of course. She flicked the lift to her tail, proud and happy to hear it so--not that it had been hard to imagine his triumph, and this was an ego she could willingly appeal to. Victories made for their strength, and the battles leading him to it was experience not all could even boast. One look, one second in.. he was capable, she trusted, and was all too pleased to get that confirmation. Against Blackfeather, would be warriors, even? Good foundations, and likely, useful bolstering to his pride.

All good, she thought--what he was meant to do and want ran prominently in his blood. 

It had been the intentions in the beginning to raise them strong, and seeing he continued his efforts to keep growing and experiencing even while beyond them was good; worth remembering, too. She only wanted to see him achieve that fullest potential and selfishly, she did prefer him doing it where she could appreciate seeing it unfold--and maybe guide the course just enough, since Ame was experienced enough to know to think about the long-term too. Plus, now that she faced the very real possibility that she may never bear another litter, maybe her last but not least son would always have a special nook to occupy of all of her love.

Fondly she rumbled at him and picked up her pace with new vigor, off towards a trail that warmed just subtly. Maybe they would get lucky. She was in an oddly appreciative mood anyway.
