Between them, it was still. She weighed her options and studied, only encouraged when his tail waved slightly in greeting. All else about him seemed so bizarre, yet curious at the same time. There was an allure about him as well, however she could not explain what it was. His seemingly measured reaction to her allowed this to outweigh her unease, so she glided into motion to draw nearer.
Her path arced around him as it came closer for she intended to circle him, should he allow it. She wanted to see how he would react, so raised her tail up just some, but not far enough to sling it up over her back in an entire display. All the while, her eyes were glued to his pale form and she rumbled lowly, though smirked curiously -- the note was not in malice, but curious satisfaction instead. What are you? was the unspoken question brimming in her eyes as she looked him up, down, and all around.
She suddenly swept even closer, sniffing him purposefully, pressuring his space and hoping to encourage him into motion with the intrusion all at once. She wanted to see him dance, and the best way she knew how was to walk the fine line of not-quite violence. Ame's own steps were light and quick, despite old lingering aches that only showed when she took a step too sharply. However she did not worry. He may have been tall but should he turn on her with teeth and claw, she would rise to meet it just the same as any other.
And yet, nature would have it that their time together would be short-lived. Life soon pulled them in opposing directions and Amekaze bid him a silent, but curious, farewell and set off to jog further down the river. She had duty to attend and he had been an interesting encounter, no matter how brief.
