The idea that a wolf could simply be that stupid without a legitimate reason was outlandish to Dragomir, so it was difficult for him to imagine anyone risking their life without a cause. Sickness was the most likely answer. He hoped he would never contract something that addled him enough to throw his life to the wolves, literally.

Well, Dragomir said, in conclusion, at least this guy was smarter than that. It seemed their business here was done. He'd learned what he needed to about the fickle nature of some wolves and keeping his guard up whenever he was on the borders. There was much still to learn, but Dragomir thought it could wait for another time. I should probably continue the patrol and make sure he isn't standing somewhere else along them, he suggested, leaving room for Hydra to issue a different command or join if she felt so inclined.
