As far as Mal figured, there hadn't really been anything wrong with what they'd done. Then again, Mal hadn't exactly been from a particularly strict upbringing -- he just kind of did his own thing and if it didn't entirely explode, then it was fine. People could do what they wanted as long as it was fair. Nothing between them should have anything to do with the other sister -- was it something to do with diplomatic stuff somehow? Didn't make sense to him.
