He just wondered how that would line up with other things if she wanted him to come along. What about Caerus? Miriam and Aibreann? Would she want someone to just go with her and stay at a distance? Maybe she wouldn't want him to go at all in that case. But if she hadn't told anyone what happened with her father, he wouldn't be surprised if he was on the short list otherwise.
