He circled around to where Liliana was hiding, partially trying to sniff for clues, but also not wanting to get in Miriam's way as she removed the evidence of the crime. And pieces came together. Phillip was his first thought -- what had happened to him? He was pretty sure it wasn't the same person. He'd have to backtrack a bit to make sure he could pick out the scent.

Worry had quickly been replaced with rage -- a nice unspoken 'whoever it was has limited days left to live' kind of feel to it all.
