Redsand Canyon I prefer the pain, you tellin’ me

They walk in circles, chasing one another with their eyes. A wild smirk on his maw as he watches her. Obviously taking in her form and the sheer determination in those beautiful, pumpkin eyes. He’s expecting her attack when she quickly closes in on him, yet she’s still able to get a little nip in on his jaw. A bounce back and he’s not even giving her enough time before he’s already on her again. 

Usually he would tease her, but the gaze in her eyes is screaming I’m taking this seriously, so he will too. Well not as serious as his spars with Nyra. Admittedly, he doesn’t use as much strength with Leigh as he does with Nyra. For the Phoenix-wolf is much larger than the dragon-wolf, he just doesn’t want to actually hurt Leigh and all her cuteness. 

So lunging towards her he goes for her neck-shoulder area. Teeth grabbing onto the looser flesh in the area and attempting a little shake. It leaves him open for an attack, but he’s willing to take it.
