Rising Sun Valley the walls kept tumbling down in the city that we love

Being back in the Valley might have made him sad, once. This place holds memories, so many that any attempt to quantify them only leaves his head aching. Korei, Lily, Lennon... his siblings. All dead or gone now. His gaze wanders, and more names come to him. Outlander. Valette. He shakes his head slightly as he continues north, deciding he's had enough of this trip down memory lane. That isn't why he'd come back here.
Honestly, he isn't quite sure why he's here again. The betrayal that had taken everything from him once again had also taken the last of his desire to pursue anything he'd wanted in the past. That road has only led him to heartbreak, and he is done seeking happiness when happiness has never wanted him. Perhaps that is why he's back; there is no happiness here for him, but there is something else. He halts, eyes finding the sky, and notes the start of the sun's descent. He'll have to find shelter for tonight... and maybe tomorrow, he'll figure out what it is he's searching for.
