I waited to see if anyone else wanted to hop in. <3
That familiar voice pulled his ears forward so that they were cupped, eager to catch any resonating sound that they could. The warmth of her gaze was a welcome one. Atlas closed the remaining space between them and bumped his shoulder to her frame softly.
“Funny, I was just thinking of you too,” he rumbled in a smoky voice.
It was nice to have that familiar face there. More than this, it was nice to know that he could find himself in the company of someone who wanted to be with him. Atlas knew that he wasn’t quite as interesting as Osiris, not nearly as mysterious as Antares, but if Meerkat could find something worthwhile in him then there was hope.
