Hideaway Strath Call of the wild

Oh, what an enthralling young wolf. He can’t help but think as she whispers to him. Stunning in all of her midnight beauty. The upwards tilt of her lips and those bright eyes have him enraptured by her gaze.

“Good.” Is all he says back, the word sickeningly sweet to the ears. 

They get lost in each other’s gaze and he’s quite surprised by it. He hasn’t done that on some time with anyone. It almost frightens him, yet he welcomes this shewolf with open arms. He likes her, that’s for sure. 

Then she’s breaking the contact and beginning another. He cute, pink tongue licking the wet leather of his nose and announcing her leave, easily turning her back on him. Promising to bring him back what he wants, he understands how vague that sentence is and either way he looks at it, both results are fine with him. 

Nosing his chin to her he smirks. “I’ll be looking forward to it, darling. Safe travels.” He says as a final goodbye and he too turns to continue on his patrol. A pep in his step at the new found energy.
