Word had spread that there was to be another Great Hunt, like the one upon Hoshor Plains. Rodyn of Moontide was the leader, and all packs had been welcome to send representatives to Firefly Glen and participate.
Would the Copse go, too? Bushtit was far too young to travel and so Seal knew some would need to stay back.
It was then she heard Lotus’ call. She trotted toward the other girl, eager for any oppertunity to connect. “You rang?” Seal giggled when she laid eyes on the silver yearling. Immediately, the fragrant bouquet hit Seal’s nose as she admired fresh glossy sheen of Lotus’ pelt.
“Gosh, you look nice!” Seal exclaimed with a girlish laugh and wondered if Lotus always looked so groomed or if there was some special occasion… prehaps something they could gossip about!
