Moonspear rainbows

The familiar smell of mountain loam led Seal back to the place she had been born.

She couldn’t explain what else drew her back. Perhaps she was simply done voyaging, like a ship returning to its harbor.

Seal did not know what awaited. What had changed? What had stayed the same?

Her travel-worn paws ached and all she could think about was sinking them into Moonspear’s snowmelt streams as she howled at its borders.
