Ouroboros Spine There was a time

Ajei realized too late, she had been lax in her duties as wife, as mother as leader. She had been doing her own thing as the days grew colder. Filling caches, speaking with hardly anyone. Moonglow was not large, but that mattered not. 

So today she settled outside her den. And she lifted her nose to the sky and she offered a listening ear to any and all. She would hold court so to speak. Nothing major, but if someone had wanted to speak with her and she had been missing in the moment. Here she was. Willing to speak.
