Shortly after it had happened, Charon had began to regret it. But he didn't intend to go to Ame and share his pain with her, tell her it was a mistake. He'd instructed Althaia to tell anyone who asked it was Harley who'd done it and that was the story he intended to stick with. Who wouldn't believe that Althaia would be an insolent little fucker? It wasn't hard to frame Harley -- Charon had no idea how close he was to the truth -- after his display of dominance over Charon that day.

And so he set out to find @Amekaze after making sure his scent bore no resemblance to Althaia's or the consummation they had, following her scent, without any guilt in his step. He didn't want to lie to her, but neither did he want to lose her. This was just a foolish, boyish move, his own inexperience with heat showing. He would not do it again and therefore it would be stupid to worry Ame with it. He'd just tell her about Harley, and that would be that. Even if it would mean the death of his own pups -- if there were any at all -- so be it. They were a mistake, anyway.
