Duskfire Glacier in spite of the uneven odds, beauty lifts from the earth

His talk with his sister had given him much needed strength, to know that she had his back and would stand alongside him during this trying time gave him hope. The effort of keeping his family safe and moving over the last month had taken it's toll on him. Siarut had always been a serious one, yet strangly kind and gentle, now his smiles were few and far between. He held a stern experssion wherever he went, and only the pups could be seen to bring about his tenderness. 

Venturing away from the dens where his family rested, Siarut stumble upon the cross scent of one more who he wished to check on. He hadn't wanted to crowd her on their journey, he wasn't sure if she had wanted time to deal with the rocky start. The ice bear turned in her direction, and came upon a sight to behold. The silver lady had her head stretched toward the sky, as if her very nose could touch the stars above. He wasn't sure what she was looking at, but she was awe struck. After a moment he took slow steps toward her, without saying a word.
