I will! With a slash of his tail cutting through the air, his momentum was cut as the familiar sound of Aningan demanding him to stop caught his attention. A growl continued to roll through his body, and his gaze never left the blotch that was slowly returning to be Cupid. 

They aren't fit to raise the survivor. He explained in the blur of the moment. His tone was certain, he was certain of it, that he was right about this. His actions were just. Aningan if he knew would understand. They were poisoned through their mother, poppy seeds for a moment of selfish pleasure. Cupid even said they didn't care for them or the puppies. They said so themselves!

Not wanting to fight Aningan and the new mother, Rosencrantz walked off. Bitter and angered that Aningan would protect someone so willingly who had carelessly risked the other pups of the litter due to selfish indulgences. Though he would not hate the Alpha for long, this would not be forgotten either.
