Wild Berry Meadow if crazy equals genius

@Koume hope this is okay !!
Through harsh, morose winter, it seemed nothing truly thrived. Alarian had yet to discover this was not a universal rule, so when he stumbled upon the meadow he was at first shocked and delighted beyond words.
It didn't take long for his joy to become manic, however, and soon he was ripping through plants as if in a rage, clawing and tearing at everything in sight. The fit only lasted a few minutes, and when the boy was finally done he found himself surrounded by the remains of the foliage he had targeted. Berries still clung to the bush branches that lay in the snow, some of them staining it brightly.
Alarian pushed his muzzle to the berries, taking a slow sniff, and decided they were probably good for eating. So that was how he spent his morning-- having a breakfast of berries among a mess of ripped up plant.

Mismatched eyes fluttered open and silvered hackles rose as the feisty girl did. It was cold, but not like it was cold in the Woods. Had she truly fallen asleep in the meadow? How foolish of her, anyone could've discovered her. Well, at least she wasn't lost again. Nope, home was that way and freedom the complete opposite. Then again, though she hated to admit it, she did have a heart and it was hard to leave her siblings to be in those cold woods. She would not be leaving today.  She yawned audibly, nearly throwing her head in her neck to stretch. After she was done shaking some dirt and plants (some had even poked her quite painfully) out of her coat, she looked around.

of course she wasn't the only one there. No, the meadow had become quite the hotspot for wandering souls, and she hated it. Though she thought first she was female she was dealing with, the wind brought to her the mind boggling information that this was a male. Even fucking worse. She sighed but womaned-up as she approached, seemingly dripping with confidence.

The hell have you done with this place? She questioned quite rudely, looking at the mess of plants and berries from a distance.

When he first caught sight of the shadowy female, he noted the way the light reflected off her back; fascinating. But then she was there and she seemed angry and he desperately reached for some excuse. Was this her home?
Err, it wasn't me. It was a really, really big... lion! Yeah, I saw him. Alarian tried to adopt a serious, wide-eyed expression. He was huge and yellow and angry, and he murdered all those plants! Right in front of me. It was... horrible. He covered his eyes as if overcome, then glanced up from under his paws with one eye and added: I'm sorry for your loss.
He was certain it'd be a convincing enough act, but then he remembered the berries staining his own muzzle. I uhh... tried to save them. But he was too strong.

She frowned, obviously not impressed with his excuse. Her lighter ears lowered, displaying her displeasure in conversing with him about this matter. His stuttering made it quite obvious he was either not telling the truth, or that he did it together with the supposed lion. She stepped forward, hackles never lowering, gaze fierce and unbroken.

Clean up your shit when you get out of here, okay? She tried, voice a mix of anger and faked niceness. She really hadn't slept well out here and she was having none of this bullshit. The sooner the male was far- far away from her home, the better, but she wouldn't allow the meadow to be left behind like this.

Clearly the other wolf was unhappy with him, and Alarian suddenly felt rather guilty. He hadn't wanted to intrude, to mess up someone else's living space-- he had only wanted to play. Though the boy's first instinct had been to lie to cover his ass, he ultimately felt inclined to do as she said and clean up his own mess, so he stood awkwardly.
Do you live here? His ears flattened in shame as he spoke, tail tucking close to his body. The boy's stance was submissive, but his glittering eyes were fixed a bit more boldly on the dark wolf, both remorseful and inquisitive at once. He started nosing the debris into a pile. I didn't mean to upset you.

Grumpily, she snorted softly, relaxing a bit now she knew she had at least broken through his thick man-skull. Honestly, she was never going to settle for a guy. And she didn't have the hots for ladies either. Perhaps she really was doomed to stay with her family in the Dark Woods forever.

No one means to. She mumbled, only barely understandable. She didn't know why so many things upset her, and that made her even more upset.

Sighing at the sight of how slow males were with cleaning up their messes, she walked up to him, muzzle taking with her some of the destroyed plants. She usually wasn't one to work together, but she did find it a time-winning strategy when it came to gathering or cleaning. If she helped, he'd be gone even sooner, and she could go home with an untroubled mind.

The tense, mumbled reply warmed Alarian to the girl a bit-- grumpy girl, he mused to himself fondly. Truthfully, her abrasive disposition was something he was all too used to, so it barely put him off from talking to her. If anything, it made the situation more familiar to him, and inspired a small amount of comfort with the control it gave him.
He was surprised when she moved to help him, but was quick to assume it meant he wasn't doing good enough, so he tried to be a little more efficient.

The boy began to hide the pile in a nearby bush that bordered the forest next to the meadow, placing them carefully among the inner roots so they wouldn't be visible. He had never been more surprised than when the bush moved, and he heard a deep, feral growl followed by a distinctly feline hiss. Angry eyes with slit pupils stared out at him, and he screeched and threw himself backwards.
Lion! Alarian yelled, scrambling to get away. He wasn't looking at the bush when a lynx streaked from its hiding place within, running deep into the forest.

You'd think someone as wary as Koume herself would notice a lurking lynx nearby, but the lack of a good night's rest and her annoyance caused by the male had distracted her just long enough for the beast to go unnoticed. She gathered and gathered, stacking the dead plants and somewhat dried berry mush in a neat pile when it happened. The growl first made her think the strange man wanted to fight - or play -, neither of which she was up for, but the hiss made her drooping ears jerk up and her eyes fired up even more. While the man fled, she went towards the cat with raised hackles and bared teeth. She growled as even the lynx fled, making her wonder what the hell it was even doing here.

Lions don't come here! She snapped at him when the cat was out of sight, out of breath due to the spook it had given her. Are you a man or not?! We could've taken it on if you hadn't hurried away like some pissin' bunny. She collected herself, mismatched eyes like a cold fire as she stared at him.

I could've really used a meal. She said after, chilly like the winter breeze, feeling her belly rumble.
