All Welcome
Set a few days in the future, probably Wednesday or so.

Again she wandered.  Prey was not on her mind this time.  Now she wondered and wandered in search of perhaps a new recruit or two to add to their numbers to replace the ones that had decided to go elsewhere.  She honestly didn't carry much of a grudge against them -- if there was any good time to move, during a pack relocation was probably a good one.  Everything was already being disrupted, so what was a few names disappearing off the roster as well?  Maybe if they came back she'd have a few sharp words but eh.  Depended on how they acted.

She lowered her head and sniffed at a game trail that wound its way through the undergrowth.  It would be the easiest way to navigate through, perhaps giving her an idea if this was a good place to continue to search or if she should move on elsewhere.  At least these chilly days would encourage wolves to start thinking about winter, perhaps.  Sure, it wasn't necessity yet, but there it was watching from the horizon.  Maybe soon.  No good hints at this one.  Maybe the next.  Treason lifted her head and wandered forward again.

the mountains are charming, and he is tempted to stay, but true to his nature, he moves on without a single glance behind him. he has seen many charming places, and he will see many more before his days end.
the forest he finds himself in next is one such place. he is almost distracted by the flourishing greenery — a sight that will soon vanish with the coming winter — until the scent of another wolf draws him from his reverie. he hesitates briefly, one paw lingering just above the earth as he pauses in making the decision. interaction today? his mind asks itself too-cheerfully, and he grudgingly decides it is necessity. he'd heard, once, that some wolves go mad after spending so long isolated; he doesn't need to test the theory.
his approach is measured, and when the stranger comes into view he slows a bit to take them in. larger than himself, a striking combination of white and black — a woman, he realizes as he draws nearer. there is pack scent around her, too, though he has yet to encounter any claimed land. he pauses and chuffs softly to announce himself, though he'd made little effort to hide his arrival in the first place, and waits for acknowledgement.

Though Treason didn't know that Morningside was right up against the northernmost corner of the grove, Treason was wondering why this wasn't the land they'd selected to move to.  It seemed full enough of prey and other such things, but had a little more space between them and the other two packs.  If she wandered around enough, she'd eventually figure out that it was right up against another.  Of all the regions, this seemed to be the most crowded chunk of the map.

She'd thought she'd heard someone wandering around not too far away, so she'd halted her progress in order to keep an ear out.  For a few moments she just stared in that direction, then realized that would probably cause too much unease for whatever poor soul might be wandering her way.  Nah, instead she milled around, investigated, and generally just wasted a few minutes until it was more appropriate to look up and see who had arrived -- it'd give her a moment to figure out what the hell to say if she was expected to be on the more investigative side of any conversation.  Usually she conversationally resembled a brick wall, so it'd be a change.

The man who arrived was more monochromatic than her and a lighter build, a stranger, and seemingly alone.  Interesting.  At least he seemed to have been the one to seek her out -- that took a little pressure off.  She dipped her head politely before speaking, What brings you out here?  Honestly, that was the best she could think of to start things off -- she was not good at the whole talking thing, but at least she was greeting the guy with a fairly (for her) amiable attitude.
