There were very little traces of Rusalka members wandering by, but ever so often he would pick up on their trail. A scent here and there drawing him across the beach, every so often it would be lost but he had a direction to follow... a hunch that they would remain close to the sea's edge, and so he would hug along it, and eventually, hopefully, he should find their new location. At least, that was the plan. It was something to hold on to for now. A sliver of hope.

Now that the pest he had encountered back on Rusalka's previous territory had gone, it felt safe enough to continue on his path on searching for them. Free to do so and not worry of him dragging back some shit for them to deal with on his paws. They dealt with enough, he knew that. They all did.

Upon the plateau, he was able to take a look out into the ocean once more, study its pattern and smell the air that reminded him of the pack that held it oh so dear. The fear of rejection was real, seen as a traitor for leaving without a word other than that of Tundra's to Anningan before they left. Had he told everyone of their plan? First thing's first... find the pack and deal with the consequences as they come. Once that came and went, only then would he move onto step two of whatever-the-hell he was doing.
