Setting: Mid-sunset, soft showers
Tagging: @Tadashi
Notes: Hopefully this place will do. I started the thread off for us so you can reply when you're ready <3

The veiw of the sunset was quite nice from this spot, despite Āzon not having a clue in hell where he was. He knew that his trail led him towards a beach — that much was obvious by the sands, structured rocks, and the red, stone sized insects with pinchers that fiddled across the sand side-ways — creepy ass insects they are. Though a beach usually meant the very end of a territory, and If Āzon traveled this far north only to end up near a dead end, that would mean the brute was going the wrong way....'sigh'.

Well, that didn't matter right now. The prince could worry about finding his way back later considering most of the land he traveled on was mapped out pretty well in his head.

Āzoniol layed sideways in the sands, yawning and brushing his tail against the white grains simply because it felt good against his skin; a nice change of scenery in contrast to looking at bark and leaves all day. Dull rain drops fell on his head and dripped down his cheeks while he stared off into the tinted sky and foamy shores. Nothing particular came to mind in that moment — just the sounds of his calmed, rhythmic breathing and waves crashing against the shores.

thank you! both for starting and being patient ^^"

and so it is, back up the coastline as the rain slows to a steady shower. ideally tadashi would be retracing his steps in better conditions, but impatience tugs him up and around the northern coast again. it has dawned on him what a useless medic he is if he can’t even name where herbs grow, and the rain can only serve to excuse his ignorance for so long. storage be damned—he’ll run through a hurricane for his patients. (in theory, at least. he hopes he’ll never have to test it.)

the shoreline nears. the silhouette of an irregular shape rises among the sand; tadashi’s first thought, an oddly-placed rock, its crags and peaks eroded by the waves. then it swells—telltale, breathing. hello.

he approaches with little subtlety, head tilted in wide-eyed curiosity. on closer inspection the “stone” is revealed as the back of a wolf; white sands, white fur. the angle yields little insight to the stranger’s condition—the thought crosses tadashi’s mind that perhaps the thick coat isn’t thick enough, hiding a form thinner than it ought to be. he dismisses it just as quickly, however; tadashi would be the last to judge health by appearance of weight alone, and it’s possible the stranger has simply chosen a sunken patch of sand in which to rest.

still. what an odd place for a nap.

raising his head and slowing to a pause, in what he assumes is a comfortable distance away (but may be too close for someone with a wider personal space), tadashi lets out a friendly chuff to announce his presence. “hello, stranger.” it’s becoming his signature.

Don't worry about it! This reply rn is kinda late as well, so apologies on my side ;-;

The atmosphere around him was sound and quiet — hell, one could even use this spot to meditate or something. Of course, Āzon wasn't gonna sit there and start meditating (because that would've been fuckin' weird), but the pale prince did feel himself start to doze off into a calmed, otherworldly state of peace. It felt like all the weight had been lifted off of his shoulders and that no one other than himself existed at that moment....

This being the case, one can only imagine the racing panic Āzoniol felt when a sudden voice rang from behind him.

"HOLY SHI-" the large brute shot up to his paws in a not-so-graceful manner, sending clouds of sand flying in multiple directions. When he did eventually find his footing, his red and green gaze landed on a smaller wolf. They would've been just as pale as Ignis himself if it weren't for the ink that splotched their right eyelid.

"H-hey...." He responded with slanted eyes of suspicion. They seemed rather enthusiastic to see someone he'd never met — what was their deal? "Ummm....who're you?"
