Conception
Once again preemptively marking this as mature for smexy, Sabah is still in heat (and probably seeking out multiple baby daddies accidentally)

Her paws turned her north, and Sabah was remiss to follow. She hated to leave the ice and snow man behind her but..well. She wasn’t going on a walkabout for her own health, and the further she stayed from the Mesa while her heat clung to her very bones, the better.

The place she was now was dark, but she was on its fringes. Just passing through, as it was. Swinging close to the edges of the mountains, slipping through the darkness offered to her. She wondered of the bird, of what he would find. Of how the hell to build a following. Of names, though she had that already. Oi Kryfoí, her Hidden Ones. Though, she doubted she’d be alone on her leadership council.

Sabah kept turning the idea in her mind, eyes roaming the Glen she was passing through, her strides quick, neck stretched out before her.

a night.

asmodeus enjoyed @Jorunn and her company. but the air of the mountains and the lands beyond promised the chance to pass along his own genetics.

he wanted to see her again. his howl as he departed the sunspire was for her, a promise to be easily summoned again if she wanted more of his hot bod.

asmodeus traveled with single minded intent, and when he found himself in a small, empty glen, the serpent found what he was seeking.

a woman, wreathed in her own scent. the man growled lowly and approached, muzzle reaching cautiously to test her welcome or her war.

The growl made her whip towards the source, only to find another monochrome man. Ice whites and greys.

She was a magnet for them, huh?

Anyway, he came like a heat seeking missile (heh) towards her and she slowed her pace to a halt to welcome him in, weary of intentions, ice blues narrowing.

There would be no chunks taken out of her today. That wasn’t a good way to set the mood. But she allowed the approach all the same, tense, but not overly so.

she was tiny and reddish with a scarred muzzle and glowing blue eyes. an alien sort of catch.

and it seemed like she was wanting to skip the small talk. score for him. asmodeus obliged, wary-legged and observant. he paused a small distance away and grinned hotly at her.

"do you need help with that?" that being her body screaming into the air. but she would get what he meant, wouldn't she?

Did she want help?

Duh.

Perhaps. Is what came out instead. Sabah, for a moment, considered screaming. But then, she figured it was a good thing, and she flicked an ear to the side.

Am I wrong in assuming that’s why you’re here?

"you're not wrong at all, my lovely beacon of gondor."

asmodeus paced closer. her scent was making him impatient and daring. the man sought to push his muzzle against her hackles, to again take and analyze in that old way. but if she wasn't quite ready yet, he would fuck off a little space away.

Sabah twitched at the touch, not away but not towards either. It was mostly reflex, even as she swung her head around to stare at the dark eyes of the snow colored man.

Perhaps I could get a name to go with a pretty face? She asked a second later, flashing a toothy grin. Remember who you are, commander. You’re a boss ass bitch.

"asmodeus," he purred, pretending to hiss near her cheekbone. "what's yours?" she smelled of snow. forest. stone. and interesting. another man, and recently.

the fact he hadn't been her first choice somehow fired the serpent more. encouraged by the fact she did not step away, asmodeus started to preen her ruff, his questing lips eventually traveling to explore the hollow of her throat.

Asmodeus

She knew the name’s origin, could vaguely manage to recall it. So, with a flash of her teeth, she reached up to whisper her own name, chosen on the spot to suit her standards for the time.

Beleth.

She snorted.

My mother was perhaps a tad too…superstitious.

beleth. "are you?" he licked the base of one ear, pressing his taller body against her own. his tail swayed. asmodeus didn't want to hear about her family tree, he wanted to soothe her for the time being.

drive the demon out, as it were.

Sabah hummed out a noise, filing away the pseudo identity behind the hundreds of others.

I can’t say I am. Are you? She questioned, leaning into the man’s touch, tail swinging idly from side to side, like a content cat.

"i deal only in the physical," asmodeus quipped. there was a stand of trees nearby. he lifted his head to look toward them meaningfully.

or he could have her right here in the open, unashamed and unabashed. it didn't matter. either way she was going to have what she needed.

Only in the physical.

She could tell.

Sabah followed his gaze to the trees, and dipped her head in agreement, turning to begin a trot toward the cover. While moving, her brain skittered off to roll over other things, even as she kept part of it in the here and now. She glanced over her shoulder once she got to her destination, gave a coy flip of her tail, and vanished into the trees.

and just like that, beleth was done talking. asmodeus did not move yet. he only watched the woman as she sauntered to the trees and was swallowed by them.

then the serpent padded up the rise, taking his time before he too pressed into the shadows, rearing to pull her against his body.

a moment to wait. a moment for a last yes or for her to decide he wasn't all that.

He came to her in the sanctuary she made of the darkness. She flashed a quicksilver grin, letting her eyes lapsed closed, letting warmth burn in her veins.

This was nice.

we can fade here if you like! Or if he’d wanna stick around and chat I’m open to that too <3

"i could eat something," he told her later. asmodeus yawned but did not rise. she was warm against him.

"you?" he didn't think he'd be the last meal she consumed, and for that he was happy. maybe a bit of compersion.

Sated for the time, Sabah’s eyes lazily opened to glance at Asmodeus, maw opening in a yawn.

Food sounds good. She said, mildly surprised at the hint of a rasp to her own voice. Ah, well. Voices were useful things, but ultimately not needed.

"rabbits," he decided hungrily, rolling away from her and moving out into the snow.

she was still in season. his instinct demanded that he stay close for at least some time. asmodeus pushed his muzzle into her ruff and then moved off into the winterland, looking for scents.

Her tongue flicked out to draw over her nose. Asmodeus pressed his muzzle into her nape, and she was alone.

For the time she was alone, her thoughts spun up once more, spiderweb filigree across her vision. What would she be doing? What of the bird? Where had he gone, when would he return? By spring, or sooner? She wanted to be in the wind, soon.

Her time away from Akashingo had let her know. It was simply a powder keg, and she would not turn to Germanicus to help her, not again. She would take up her own banner.

A keeper of a thousand secrets, a hearer of a thousand whispers. No gods, no, but the fallacies of man and mankind. The gods couldn’t keep their promises to mortals, but men were bound by social niceties. And she would capitalize on it.
