The spirits had blessed this pack with pups! It was wonderful news and Selena felt glad for her Lady, her protector. She had a healthy delivery and was already on the mend it seemed. She hadn't been to visit yet and truthfully the subordinate was in no rush. The sire was someone who she was sure didn't seem to take to fondly to her quite yet.

The young woman sat by the lake, pawing at a particularly long patch of grass in thought. Did she truly belong here, or was she just following the woman who claimed her out of fear? The spirits would not speak to her of it.

To the lake he went for a drink. But oh, there was another here.

The flimsy little woman from before.

Gliding towards her from behind with eager steps, Khaba made a purpose to brush past when he reached her, nearly shoving her to the side. But he didn't stop, moving directly to the bank.

If there were protests to be heard, he wouldn't wait to hear them, dipping his large skull towards the water to take his fill.

Speak of the dark entity.

The lowly woman felt herself half stumble forward as the weight of her alpha checked her. Immediately, her mind clouded and all thoughts disappeared as her survival instincts took rein. Selena nearly muttered a 'sorry' as she crouched low to the ground, but bit her lip remembering how her words angered him before. She didn't even know his name. She supposed she didn't need to.

The peasant tucked her tail close, looking off towards his legs as she refused to make eye contact. Her slim body wavered with the winds as she stood very still, head lowered to expose her neck for him. It was what she was taught to do from her mother. It's all she really knew to do in a situation with a man like this. Surely this wasn't to be expected with all men? Selena remembered @Sandulf and how kind he was to her... and the fact that he actually spoke.

No, her home was different. These wolves were different.

No words escaped her. But he paid no mind.

Khaba turned to find her tucked low to the ground—tail between her legs, eyes downward, and neck exposed.

He had half a thought to walk right past and ignore her, but something stopped him.

Marching straight up to her, he reached downward with an aim to grasp her by the scruff. And if she didn't fight him, he'd drag her to the water and dump her beside the bank.

Dipping himself knee-high into the, he jerked his muzzle, gesturing to his backside. Wash. The motion commanded, the brute standing rather impatiently.

While he was more than capable of washing himself, Khaba was beyond curious to see how this would go. How far was she willing to commit to obedience to stay here? He needed to know, for the sake of Zharille and the pups. No length of disobedience would be tolerated. Not by him.

It was suddenly that Selena felt pinching pressure grip at her scruff. Her gaze was no longer focused on Alpha, as he was on top of her now. Instead she kept her focus pinned to the lake as she was dragged closer to it. Would he throw her in? Submerge her? Drown her? She feebly attempted to reach for something to grab onto, claws collecting dirt as they left their mark in the earth behind her. And then she was let go.

Forgetting her teachings, the woman stumbled back and whipped around to fully look at this brute. Her chest heaved as she anxiously awaited what was to come next. She couldn't run, he would catch her. Besides, he let go and now...

Selena let the realization come to her in its own time, but it did eventually arrive. He stood, posed like a God in the waters of their home, with an expectant look shot at first to her and then to her duty. The woman gawked for a moment, knowing she had never bathed anyone but her younger siblings before.

The subordinate whined, but was complacent and followed instructions. She waded into the chilled waters next to him, keeping a steady eye on his weaponry before dipping her muzzle into the lake. With water dripping from her snout, she carefully let it drip onto his haunches as she circled his back side. Once his pelt was sleek with water, she began her grooming.

She turned quick to face him the moment she was released. He half expected her to finally snap, but she didn't.

There was stillness in her while trying to comprehend his demands. And when she whined, he knew she understood. While she may not have liked it, she was willing to do it regardless. All to keep her pretty little coat intact.

Slow, but effective, she began to groom him. He could feel the cold water dripping down his backside. Her tongue then as it slid across his fur, he couldn't help but tuck his chin and growl faint with soft pleasure. He hadn't been washed by another, especially by a female, in quite some time, and it felt good.

But then, when she reached his previously injured shoulder, he suddenly jerked sideways, snapping his teeth. He wasn't sure if he'd even caught her in this motion, but he only cared that she knew to leave that spot alone.

A feeling of pride welled inside of her as her Alpha accepted her preening, the approval made clear by his audible release. Her heart quickened at the unexpectedness of the moment and she wondered if this was normal. She could only imagine it was, why else would he ask her of this? As her thoughts drifted to the woman who brought her into this pack, and if this would be okay with her, Selena had become absent minded in her bathing only to be brought back violently with the beast snapping a whisker's length from her face.

She yelped, shrieked really, at the change of demeanor from her superior. Selena adjusted accordingly and as quickly as she possibly could, righting herself while backing away from Alpha's shoulder with an apologetic grunt.

She faced him for a moment, meeting his gaze and getting lost in it for a moment before remembering her role and thus the duty at hand. The small woman would slowly saunter to his other side, wary that his other shoulder might be a bad spot to groom as well. He was massive in comparison and she had been lucky his strike did not land her. If he didn't mind this, she could then move to his neck, jowls, and if he allowed it his ears.

The message was heard.

Immediately, she moved away. First to his front, where he hadn't noticed her staring, and then after to his other side.

Her work continued, shifting from his torso, to shoulder, and then towards his head.

Khaba could feel her reaching, and so to help her, he dipped his skull downward, allowing her tongue to find his muzzle and ear.

Again, a growl fell him, though softer and a bit more polite.

She wasn't so bad to have around, he decided. He might even have her perform in this way more often. Keeping a clean appearance would likely please Zharille, and he wanted to do everything possible to make sure he stayed in her favor. The longer he stayed as top dog, the better.

The man softened slightly at her touch. This pleased her, made her feel she was starting to fall into place here.  A feeling of hunger for more praise welled deep within her belly. The woman's submissive nature was tenderly stroked with every lick she planted on him. She could bathe him as well her Lady, catch them their fish, watch over the pups if they would have it. So long as it pleased them. Perhaps the spirits were right to have led her here. Maybe that's why they have been so quiet; they had no need for her to make any changes right now. She wished she could share her thoughts with her protectors, but they wouldn't understand.

The now appointed handmaiden finished her work, wading away from the large wolf with a dip of her head. She waited for him, in case he wished to be bathed more... but Selena was sure she had taken care of every part of him that he would allow.

She would finish bathing him, and he let her do so.

When finished, she moved from the water first. He took his steps slow, wading out from behind her.

Along her body he drew, pressing firm, posessively—though not enough to push her off balance. He wanted to feel her against him, as he not before. She was one of his women now, regardless of in what ways he took advantage of this.

His eyes remained fixated upon her, attentive to any signs she gave away. If she moved away, he would pull her close again. But if she remained still and complacent, he would continue this for a time.

The force in which they came together on land, well it made the woman feel as if she might be stuck on this man's side for the rest of eternity. The sheer magnetism that kept her from pulling away was something larger than herself, and that excited her.

Selena felt like she was dancing on the edge of flames with Alpha, and with one wrong step she could find herself engulfed in flames. So instead, she kept with the steps that succesfully carried her this far into their little dance. The female stepped into him and felt the tug of something unworldly pull at her chin, lifting her snout to once again find his chin and give her appreciation for his acceptance.
