All Welcome
Ataninnuaqï circled above his head. Kassuq lazed beneath the boughs of a pine, his eyes closed but his ears swiveling to catch every small sound.

The message had been sent, he assumed. All he had to do was wait for the woman from the red stone camp to arrive, and see what happened from there. Hopefully, she would not mind his owl. The caribou hunters hadn’t, it had proved useful at some points, and a mere side glance at others.

He blew a breath to the still-chilled air, stretching out his limbs for a brief moment before settling them against the earth again. It was a good day to laze, at least. And if he and the red camp woman didn’t get on, he could always return to the caribou hunters, or strike out on his own as a trader in his own right.

Ajei drifted through the psck lands quiet and reserved. Everywhere she went she smelled, saw and felt her mother. She missed her so dearly. But it didn't hurt as bad as she thought. Oh it was crushing, but mama had been tired. And Ajei still felt her.

A familiar sight caught her attention and she walked delicately forward. It took her a minute but she found his face with a smile.

Kassuq it is good to see your face.
