All Welcome
News of a group hunt had spread far enough to reach the vagabond named Seal.

She had drifted away from Teekon. At first, she had tried to stay at the Spear with Treepie. And then with Ajei at Moonglow. Yet something had pulled her away -- something she couldn't place. She felt awash like a shell kicked around by the ocean's strong current.

But Rodyn's hunting call drew her back, though she arrived as the great event concluded.

The smell of many wolves, of prey blood, and meat was on the air.

A successful hunt, she presumed.

She picked her way carefully along Whitefish River until she arrived on the outskirts of the glen.

From there she could see Bramblepoint. A terrible place.

After the hunt, Disa opted to journey home solo. Small-talk required the entirety of her brain, and she was tired from several days of  aggressively filtering her words  in front of less socially challenged wolves.

She parted ways with her pack when glen became fields, telling @Kemal that she would scout for bulbs on her way home.

They were barely out of earshot when a (too)-latecomer pulled at Disa's attention. They were staring south with a concerning look on their face, wearing the burden of some terrible knowledge in their frown.

Disa slowed and stared for a minute, but eventually gave in to curiosity and shot a bark in Seal's direction.

The call of another demanded Seal’s attention. Her gaze broke from Btramblepoint to face a single woman among the scrim.

Seal shook her pelt, as if to get rid of the heebie geebies, and loped towards her.

“Looks like I missed all the action,” she huffed a laugh.

“My name’s Seal. You were here for the hunt…?” she probed.
