having received @Kukutux's message, it admittedly took the girl a moment to respond, far too troubled by the changes at home to come up with a proper message. but to stall any longer would be disrespectful, so the nebet sent words of excitement to meet moonglow's chosen suitor. 
it wasn't a lie, she truly is curious to meet the boy, but a part of her also doesn't mind if she'd just been redirected to raiyuk — he was cute, dutiful. maybe not a man bred to fight but not weak either. a good heart, too. she hoped the new boy was similar — instead she's stuck to imagine what he may look like, act like. 
though sometimes, she dreams of those deep grey and amber eyes again.

it was these musings that distracted racharra from worries that plague her, and the same musings that accompany her as she walks from noble chambers to catch glimpses of the new faces from before and after her return. there might be more too; much tinier ones, and racharra hopes to not be there the day they'll inevitably arrive. or that they never arrive at all.
she thinks of lavender and gentle beach shores again, realizing she's strayed and nearly drowned once again.
