The Sunspire eternal lights

"Exactly," she replied to Jace about leaving the mountain unguarded. "We do not have much to guard, and few come near here anyway.." she reasoned with a frown. While she knew absolutely that it was not a wise chance to bank on it being true, they did not really have much to lose here. "Although I understand if you wish to stay until more is.. settled," she added. It was an option she knew he could handle if he wished it, but frankly, she would rather have him and Echo both out with her -- even if it seemed a bit selfish to think of it like that. She was asking them to just pack up and go away from their comfortable home, without a lot of prefacing to boot. Amekaze understood. But, she did not press that matter, for it seemed Jace agreed to go along -- for whatever it was worth. She hoped Echo would as well, since Amekaze was less keen to leave her here by her lonesome.

Then, back on Jace's words of sound concern. "No, not certain, and that is why it is not absolute, yet. A lot of it will depend on many things fitting right into place, and I will only do what I think is in our best interest," she explained, shifting her weight. She too was anxious about how the Bay alpha may receive this, along with the other wolves. Charon's ambition was clear, though, and she wondered if he would proceed without her full approval. She just hoped the wolves still loyal to her would understand that she intended to strategize this fully. While it was certainly out of nowhere, she was proceeding only where she saw benefit for them.

There was a continued volley of questions and answered, but her mind was made up. They were informed, given their choices, and Amekaze would proceed to the next step soon afterward. She was eager to explore and set her sights on something new when everything seemed so stale here. It was for the best and she wanted her scant few loyalists to understand it and see it firsthand.
