Alarian realized immediately something was off with him, and when he began to sing nonsensical words the boy's mind darted to the mushrooms. Oh. Why hadn't Lennon told him?
He gave an uncertain smile, eyes trailing what was rapidly becoming a moving swirl of colors around him. Various aspects of the environment warped and changed, shifted hues and shapes, and he almost struggled to remain calm against the onslaught.
