There was little that Eleuthera could do to stop her wandering feet. Even when things were good, every fiber of her being yearned to be on the move, and to see new things, and encounter wolves and learn stories and do whatever the hell it was that she wanted. She had been barely scraping by for a while, those few dreadful months which she was alone to face the world, but now with Séamus once again by her side and she was emboldened by his very presence in her life.

Well, he wasn’t so much by her side at this moment, but the fact that she knew where she could find him whenever she wanted to definitely eased the worry and stress she felt about facing the whole wide world alone. As much as she had seen already, the lilac fae still wasn’t accustomed to solo travel; the kind where she was truly and utterly alone.

Well, thankfully that type of existence was no more and she was free to once again move about as she was wont to do. It certainly helped to know that these were the lands of her birth and childhood — places they had wandered back to purely out of coincidence. Everything immediately took of the shape of all her memories and she strut about proudly in her wanderings, as if all of these lands were all hers and Séamus’s and there was nothing that any of these others wolves could do about it. The inevitable visit to the hallowed lands of what Elysium once was must wait — for the dead were moving no where.

“Hello!”  Eleuthera called out to the figure in the distance. She was quite far from her new home, Courtfall, by this point… and even though she had feasted upon the pack’s winter stores, she found herself hungry and wondered if this passerby wanted to take down something of substance in a united effort. Though the wintered lands were beautiful, they were awful devoid of small game and other easy pickings.
the voice of your eyes is deeper than all roses
nobody, not even the rain, has such small hands
