He could relate to her worries as a parent, even if he couldn't ever get as angry as she had about the whole thing. There were a lot of questions and thoughts on his mind, but as usual, he let the golden Blackthorn explain herself before he said anything. It did look and sound as though she truly was apologizing, which he hadn't expected to happen. He'd already said his apologies, and he felt no need to express anything further in that department, but he could be the bigger person here and let it go.
