Well. Okay, there was one more thing that didn't exist at the start of this thread. Should Mal mention Kratos? Look, Mal hadn't been within a mile of a properly functioning relationship in his life, and he had no idea how someone's mom would react to that kind of thing even without having figuratively bashed her upside the head with bad news first. In the end he decided that it was better to err on the side of caution -- if he didn't want Rosalie to know anything about his life, then there wouldn't be anything else for Mal to do.
