He did not fully understand that Hydra's heat did not affect the others; but he trusted his instinct, which drew him along with Kukutux in tow, and would be present if anything were to happen.

She caught up to him - even offered conversation, to which the young man could only turn an ear and grunt softly. He did not know what to say; words weren't valued the way action was, and as mild-mannered as he could be, a conversationalist was not numbered among his skills.
