She brightened; even her expressions were subdued and careful, but he looked to her charming little smile and felt himself relax a little bit because of it. The calm of their surroundings did not require his immediate attention at the moment, so he basked in her company instead.

Say, 'i trade for,'she instructed, and his expression turned a touch more severe; a little frown to rival her little smile, but not one born from anger, just concentration. He did not want to burden her with complications or make her wait, as he knew how it felt to be on the recieving end of men full of hot air.
