He would always joke, he would expect that everyone would underestimate him, if not write him off entirely. Why bother? It wasn't so much arrogance as it was just knowing that Moonspear wolves seemed to be utterly grim things, and get them a little pissy and experience said they didn't exactly forgive. And if they had a single sense of humor among them was questionable. But in the end, it wasn't his problem to deal with.

Wasn't like that message was going to get delivered right so he hadn't tried. But other than that, he suspected she'd be heading off, so he'd give her another obviously-so-charming smile and wait for her depart before heading off on his own.
