Ocean's Breath Plateau Looks like I've got a story to tell

She raised an eyebrow at him, his answer leaving much still up in the air—most importantly, why he was here. He could have just stumbled on her while exploring or passing through, but then why hadn't he said that? She found it all kind of annoying, and it showed in the roll of her eyes she offered next. 

Well, you're welcome to join me over here if you want...or keep staring. Your choice, I guess. She shrugged her slender shoulders then looked to the side, over the edge of the plateau to drag her gaze along the place where the horizon met the sea. She was careful not to turn her whole body, though. Despite her teasing, she still didn't trust him yet.
