Mal hadn't been too far away, so he'd shown up on the scene rather promptly. Miriam was there, as was Liliana, who he was fairly sure from where she was standing showed up later. But the real curious thing here was the two white pups that were with Miriam. Not familiar at all.

He came up beside Liliana, with a light smile to her, Hey you, and then looked from her to the other three. Who've we got here? He didn't know if Liliana had just arrived or what, but if she knew what was going on, she was free to answer, though the question was technically to them all. He also knew his daughter had been going outside the territory, but since she'd come back to sleep each night, he'd let her have a bit more freedom -- the way things were going in the future, he would certainly ask her to stop, if other things didn't get in the way. Needless to say, her future wanderings would be followed, but that's a different thread. This one was about figuring out what was up with the other two random pups so someone clue the guy in, please.
