Ashlar is here and will do backup! Hopefully I won't hold things up, but if I end up doing so, please feel free to skip or powerplay him to your heart's content <3
Ashlar was not looking for Avicus when he arrived at the place where the crashing came, yet somehow he found her there anyway. When he arrived there it was because he heard the rhythm in the antler strikes and the cries of the deer below. He was piecing together a melody right now, humming quietly to himself in a wordless yet melodic fashion while his tail twitched in time to the violent noise. It was terrifyingly pretty.
Speaking of terrifying pretty things.
Ashlar froze when he spotted Avicus, then followed her gaze to the scene below. Once he began to watch he couldn't look away. He'd never seen anything like this! The song had already died on his lips and now he inched forward to watch, riveted, while the impressive beasts fought for dominance. Every bit of him quailed thinking about being down there and he was not aware of his intentions to hunt. Once they were made known he would no doubt fear them, but he knew what his role was to the home he now lived in. He would help however he could.
