She agreed and began to look around. Curious, wondering. Malakai watched her questioningly, which he needed only do a short moment before she revealed what (really who) she was looking for. 

Oh. Right. 

He was just a six month old kid. Something he even forgot sometimes, given the chaos which he and his siblings had been thrown into at such a very young age. What chaos his parents had been thrown into, who both had been young first time parents themselves. 

He pondered a time. Silence filling the moments. At first, he wanted to lash out with an anger. One which he knew would be most unbecoming. Kai often did his best to hold his inner thoughts. Ones often filled with rage, disgust, greed and self righteousness. God most certainly would not approve and it was he only who's approval which he sought. And this woman here? She sought the approval of his parents. While Kai hated to be belittled in such a manner, understood that she didn't want to traipse into someone's territory with the threat of protective parents hunting her down. She wouldn't need worry of that... 

No. He finally said. His single word flat, a frown in his features. No parents. They were both gone, now. Mother had returned to John and the girls. Simeon... Kai wasn't sure. He smelt him, but hadn't seen him, unknowing that he was finding atonement in the Lion's Den, same as their father before his death. It's just @Nakano and I. He's my mentor. He followed my parents before.... His frowned deepened and he turned away, his gaze fixed upon the lavender fields where his father was now freshly buried. I don't want to talk about it.
