this was not a thought consciously entertained by mireille; it was a prejudice nurtured by rosalyn and erzulie which now hued her observations of how many males wandered to and fro.

and so off she went, sparing an appreciative look for heph and the slim young woman with pretty eyes. the males were regarded impassively; she flicked her tail but remained silent, not quite approachable but with clear respect for rodyn and heph alike as organizers of the hunt.
