The male was not in a conversing mood. He snapped angrily at the air in response to her greeting, and her nose turned up at him automatically. Well. Fine. She snorted at him and then turned her back on him. Most likely he wouldn’t stick around long, and she did not yet have the authority to turn people away from Neverwinter. It was not yet hers. She had half a mind to say something mean, but there was no real point. She didn’t need a fight with an angry male over nothing. She walked away, intending to leave the pissy male to himself.
