Well, someone sure showed up! But not someone she recognized. Maia looked at the girl a moment, then realized she should probably be polite and say something.
She closed the distance when her brother came up, yelling his name as soon as she saw him. He seemed equally happy which was GREAT because a part of her had worried he would secretly hate her forever for leaving. Ugh.
