Haunted Wood you can run on for a long time

the approach of serem was sudden, her congratulations slightly surprising. she did not think that adult would care for what happened in the pup ranks, especially ones that seemed to care little about her and the rest of the whelps. she dipped her muzzle in greeting and gratitude, a motion she was beginning to rely on rather heavily instead of words. 

"you're vengeance's consort." she pondered aloud, the woman's appearance reminding her of her uncertainty. "what does that mean?" as far as she knew, serem hadn't actually had to fight anyone for the rank, so she must have done something else.
