Duskfire Glacier and anything before is nothing

❝vittu.❞ for the first time in a long time tundrian falls from his tongue in a low curse; as if it were his first nature to speak it. it is this glacier, he thinks. the scent of foxes all over a dug up food cache is all the evidence he needs to know that they'd been raiding it. a low growl rumbles in his chest as he stares at the upheaval of dirt and snapped tree roots; lip curling at the stench of piss and fox hang in the dirt. no doubt, he thinks, it was revenge.

their claim here has gone unchallenged and wolves were a threat; both for resources and to them in general. wintersbane takes small comfort from the fact that there hadn't been much to steal: a few scrawny rabbits he'd caught and buried there but still, it irks him all the same. that meat was for his pack not for the petty thieves that would either have to learn to share the glacier or would meet their end by the sharp cut of his teeth; wintersbane had no qualms about using their meat and flesh to fill his caches.
