All Welcome
Living within such an abundant realm was a shift to Parvati's norm, but she was adapting as well as could be imagined. She did not invest her time in getting to know the members of the pack but she did spend hours roaming the forest, captivated by the many different kinds of trees and grasses and plants, all of which were new to her - and so beautiful.

It would be best to find the wolves native to the forest and befriend them, but it wasn't in her nature to seek out companionship in such an overt way; the exceptions were plentiful though, ranging from Deimos to Ramsay, the very man who lured her to the forest — but her circumstances had been different then.

At this point, as a wolf of the dark woods, Parvati only knew what she had been raised to know: that her place was with the other women, of which there were a limited few. So she kept herself entertained in her studies, even going so far as to collect samples of the plants she had found so that she could find someone in the future and learn more about them.

With an assortment of (honestly useless) samples of grass, fern, berry sprig and assorted other bits of forest-related detritus collected between her teeth, she roamed closer to the heart of the territory and kept an eye out for someone that she could learn from.

hope you don't mind <3

Her lithe form had spotted someone up ahead. Unfamiliar to her but they smelled of home, of Blackfeather. She aimed to get closer but her lacking familiarity with the heart of the woods seemed to have her drifting in and out. A shadow lurking just out of reach.

Yet she couldn't stay hidden forever. Her curiosity refused her to stay away forever. A rather pitiful wuff slipped out of her. Her tail swayed behind her at an uneven pace. It did not seem to cower between her legs this time. Jakoul was growing comfortable within the woods and within her standing amongst Blackfeather's members. She knew she was no leader or a Known but she was not fresh meat either. No harm had fallen her and no one seemed to shove her down. She would not treat the stranger like that either. Jakoul wanted them to know the kindness she had known.

Help? She questioned softly as her eyes gazed at the plants before roaming to look at the woman's face.

A soft sound penetrated the air and seemed to gasp from a coiled black tree. Parvati would not have noticed except there was a figure taking shape, slipping closer with a shy but practised step. She paused in her own strides and watched the thin figure drift closer and closer; so thoroughly distracted by her own studies that she didn't have a moments doubt in her mind.

The stranger spoke again, this time Parvati heard and understood. She gingerly placed the bundle of plants upon the soil - conveniently where a shaft of light pooled - and smiled. Do you know these woods well? Perhaps the gods had placed a new friend in to her path, knowing that deep down she needed one.

Silver eyes watched as the collection of plants was settled against the earth below them. She knew nothing of their uses or even why someone would collect them. Yet she said nothing, could not bring the proper words to form on her tongue to ask. She would simply settle for the lack of knowledge that consumed her mind about the bundle of herbs.

The question was easy enough and although Jakoul was no master of these woods, for she knew not every crevice that lined the earth or claw mark that marred ancient trees, she knew them well enough. Home. It was a word that she used for this place these days. Her head bobbed softly, a silent yes.

The stranger was watching her, which was something many of the wolves of the wood could be found doing - lurking, spying, keeping tabs but otherwise staying hidden in the shadows. It had been odd behavior to Parvati initially, but now she had grown accustomed to it - even pleased with herself whenever she managed to court the watching eyes closer; happy with her own investigative prowess when she spotted their shapes between the trees. She felt safe and secure with the knowledge that someone was always watching.

She nodded and Parvati smiled, her tail fanning at the grass behind her for a few beats. I would love some company. She commented, and drew away from the pile of leaves and plants that she'd placed on the earth. They were safe there - except for the berries perhaps, of which there was an ample supply throughout the boggy sections of the territory - and perhaps with this girl's aid Parvati could find new vistas that she'd never before seen.

The woman paused and glanced to the shadow, wondering if she would take up the offer or need a more direct request.

It sounded like an easy task. She pattered a few steps forward before her head motioned for them to follow. The sporadic-speaking Merei may not have been the best verbal tour guide or companion but she was still eager to fill the role.

Share...you? The words were poorly picked but the best she could do. Perhaps she could attempt to elaborate. Name? Taaa — Task was the unfinished word. Too much too fast for her. Her tail flicked beneath her lithe form as her tongue nervously glided across her lips. Silver eyes sought out the face of the other with hopes there would be forgiveness for her lack of words.
